The Cullman County School Board announced the other day it had approved the application of some schools for summer schooling program. This, despite of the fact some students think summer schooling program is a drag. Through the program, the students have to spend only four hours or equivalent to half day schooling schedule. Hank Allen, Cullman County superintendent said there are schools that decide for credit-recovery programs that allow students to cut their stay in school into four hours only. In order to recover lost during the schools, students in schools such as West point as well as Good Hope School. These are booth high school institutions that plan to complete their credit through computer programs.

Allen said the students are working hard to master the computer program since they knew the program is really working for now. The program at Cullman County is only available for 7th until 12th grades. The same program is also implemented in Hancock Academy’s career center.
